Renton police investigate stabbings

Two occurred April 21.

Renton police and the Renton Regional Fire Authority were dispatched at 5:28 p.m. April 21 to the 430 block of Williams Avenue North after receiving a report of a stabbing.

First responders transported the victim, a man, to the hospital for his injuries, according to the department’s social media. Police have not determined the extent of the man’s injuries.

Investigations found a relationship between the stabbing incident and another incident earlier in the day at 3:28 p.m. at The Landing.

In the incident at The Landing, police were dispatched after a report of a fight with a weapon, with witnesses stating that a dispute between two men resulted in a knife being pulled and a stabbing.

With no victim located and involved parties having left the scene, police have not confirmed witness accounts, according to the department. Police have not identified information regarding what the dispute was about, nor the relationship between victim and suspect.
