Renton Neighborhood Program meeting to feature panel on diversity

The City of Renton’s Neighborhood Program Quarterly All-Neighborhoods meeting is Wednesday (Oct. 5) at City Hall.

The meeting is for anyone interested in the Renton community and their neighborhood and wants to learn more about Renton’s diverse culture.

The topic this quarter is “Embracing the Diversity in Our Neighborhoods.”  A panel discussion will be led by Kevin Henry, communications coordinator for Cultural Diversity, City of Bellevue; Renee Emerson, Evendell Neighborhood board member, City of Renton; and Rachel Myers, past AmeriCorps intern for Renton.

The meeting of the Neighborhood Program is 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m., seventh floor, Renton City Hall, 1055 S. Grady Way.
