The following information was compiled from City of Renton police reports:
A couple got into a verbal fight with people in a U-Haul truck, when the husband pulled out a rifle and threatened to shoot.
The couple was standing in their second-floor balcony on the 300 block of Taylor Avenue Northwest July 30.
The victims were helping a family move.
The couple told police they owned a handgun, which they had a license for, but denied having a rifle.
When police searched their apartment, they found a duffle bag full of rifle equipment, including 600 bullets.
It turned out that someone had moved the rifle to a nearby apartment, before police arrived.
Police discovered the husband was a felon, who had been convicted of armed robbery.
Indecent exposure
A 54-year-old man was arrested for indecent exposure after pulling out his genitalia in the middle of the intersection of Benson Road South and Benson Drive South.
The 53-year-old female, who called in the offense, identified the man at the scene Aug. 13.
The suspect, who also appeared angry during the exposure, kept calling the arresting officer an “oriental murdering rat bastard.”
Domestic assault
A divorced couple were arguing when the man punched the woman in the arm, forcing her to the ground Aug. 3.
The man was at the home to pick up their 7-year-old boy for summer camp, when the boy saw his dad cuss at his mom and then punch her on the 200 block of Logan Avenue South.
Counterfeit bills
Three men tried using counterfeit $50 bills at a minimart on the 1400 block of Bronson Way North July 21.
The first man left with $40 in change, when the cashier realized the bill was a fake.
A second man tried to buy a cigar with his bill. When the cashier challenged him, he walked away.
A third man tried using a bill that looked exactly like the other two fakes. However, he argued with the cashier that he took the money from his auto repair business.
The cashier gave police all three $50 bills.
Park expulsion
Two men, one who was homeless, were kicked out of the Piazza Park at 233 Burnett Avenue South after drinking, cursing and being on the verge of a physical fight.
Police issued both men a citation.
The following information was compiled from King County Sheriff’s incident reports.
Passed out drunk
A woman was found passed out drunk in front of the Fairwood liquor store on the 14410 S.E. Petrovitsky Road.
Intoxication was the only thing medically wrong with the woman. The deputy took her home.
Wife, girlfriend fight
A man’s wife and his girlfriend got into a fight on the 14900 block of Southeast 177th Place in Fairwood Aug. 6.
The husband and wife were separated and shared four children, the girlfriend and husband shared three children.
The wife had changed her mind about leaving one of her children with the girlfriend. When she went to pick the child up, the two women fought causing scratches and pulled out hair to each other.
The assaults appeared mutual.
