Fairwood woman raped; mother talks to suspect on her cell phone

A Fairwood woman was abducted and raped by a stranger after having a drink and throwing darts at a Skyway bowling alley Aug. 18.

The woman suspects she was drugged, because the last thing she could remember was walking outside the bar, according to a King County Sheriff’s report.

Police haven’t made an arrest but have gathered fingerprints and a suspect description after additional communication with him through the woman’s cell phone.

The suspect is described as a white male with strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes and about 5-foot-9 and 165 to 170 pounds, according to a City of Renton police report.

After some communication with the victim’s mother, the suspect dropped off the woman’s purse and cell phone at a fast-food restaurant on the 300 block of Sunset Boulevard Aug. 19.

While Renton police gathered some of the evidence in this case, the Sheriff’s Office is conducting the investigation.

The woman called her boyfriend before leaving the bowling alley at about 12:45 a.m. They discussed where he was going to pick her up.

When the boyfriend got to the bowling alley, he couldn’t find her. An hour later he received a call from a man claiming to be a “cop” and with the FBI.

The man said the woman was drunk and fighting him and that he was dropping her off in Fairwood.

The boyfriend went to the victim’s home in Fairwood, where he found her passed out, partially undressed and rolled in a blanket.

She was bruised on her head, arms and legs.

When the mother tried to arrange a time and place to get the girl’s cell phone back, the man sent her inappropriate photos of himself.

The mother got the phone’s call records, before discovering the suspect sent someone a topless picture of her daughter.

Police later found the photos on the girl’s cell phone. They also pulled two fingerprints.
