Domestic assaults, lewd conduct | Renton police blotter

Threatened with a firearm: Renton police responded at 7:58 p.m. March 14 to the 300 block of Taylor Avenue Northwest for an assault. A man stated to police he was serving paperwork to a woman when she threatened him with a gun, according to the department. The man left and called the police, and officers arrived, taking the suspect into custody without incident.

Domestic violence assault: Renton police responded at 8:30 a.m. March 14 after receiving a report of a fight in progress in the 4200 block of Northeast 5th Street. As officers arrived, they saw a vehicle leaving the area, according to the department. Officers stopped the vehicle and the woman within the vehicle reported the man, standing alongside the road, as having assaulted her immediately prior. Officers arrested the suspect for domestic violence assault without incident.

Lewd conduct: Renton police responded at 2:18 p.m. March 14 to the 3000 block of Southeast Royal Hills Drive for a lewd conduct call. Officers learned a man flashed the victim, according to the department.

Knife fight: Renton police responded at 3:15 a.m. March 13 to the 11500 block of Southeast 168th Street for a fight with a knife between two men. According to the department, both men left when officers arrived. Officers identified signs of a struggle at the scene. Investigation into the incident continues.

Domestic assaults: Renton police responded at 2:43 a.m. March 17 to a domestic disturbance in the 10700 block of Southeast 184th Lane. The victim stated her ex-boyfriend showed up at her home unannounced, assaulted her, stole her vehicle, and left. She also reported a second assault earlier in the evening where she had been with her ex-boyfriend and he assaulted her as well, according to the department. She filed a report with the police department and investigation continues into the incidents.
