Mission Healthcare Renton celebrated the completion of its facility, and passing inspections needed for allowing patients, on Dec. 6.

The facility, located at 17420 106th Place Southeast, is Renton’s first short-term rehabilitation facility, and operated under Careage, a real estate company specialized in senior living.

Renton councilmember Don Persson and Chamber CEO Vicky Baxter attended the ribbon-cutting. Evelyn Lynn, wife of Careage founder Gene Lynn, who passed away in August, cut the ribbon along with Dell Workman, the executive director of Mission Healthcare Renton.

The facility includes 60 beds, on-site salon, rehabilitation center, family rooms and meal service.
