Carco Theater’s newest exhibit features Tina Lauzon’s art series, “I am Tina: A recorded and transcribed journal — journal one.” The artist reception will be held at 5 p.m., July 15 and the exhibition will be featured at Carco Theater till Aug. 28.

The exhibit follows the story of “the spiritual reawakening of a successful businesswoman with a horrifyingly abusive past hidden even from herself who, as she reaches inside to remember and reclaim her past, is transformed into a visionary artist whose works inspire light and healing from a lifetime of pain.”

The art series is tied to a publication of five journals and a screenplay, and was previously displayed at Angel Orensanz Foundation and Times Square in New York.
