Imagine taking a six-month trip with your family in a wagon the size of a small car. That’s a little what it was like to travel the Oregon Trail.

Join an imaginary wagon train through time as you sing songs and hear stories of the pioneers and the people they met along the way during a special event called “Wagons West!” Saturday at the Renton History Museum.

“Wagon Master” and storyteller Karen Haas will show toys, tools, and other treasures from the past guaranteed to make for a fun journey. There’s even cream to churn into butter for a tasty treat when we reach our destination. “Wagons West!” begins at 11 a.m. and all ages are welcome.

Programs are free with regular Museum admission, a suggested donation of $3 per adult and $1 per child, and always free for members.

Renton History Museum is located at 235 Mill Ave. S., one block south of Renton Library. For more information call 425-255-2330.
