The United Way of King County is bringing summer meals to a number of locations throughout the county now until the end of August.

Meals are free and open to anyone 18 years or younger. No enrollment or pre-registration is needed.

Liberty Park is offering lunch from 11 to 11:20 a.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Heritage Park is offering lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

And the Renton Highlands Library is offering dinner from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

A free field day is scheduled for families from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24 at Midway Park in Des Moines.
