Congrats for open process to select council member | LETTER TO THE EDITOR

I want to express publicly my congratulations to the City Council for an outstanding job selecting a replacement for the recent council vacancy.

The process was efficient and transparent.

The final choice was an outstanding candidate out of a large field of applicants, all of whom were well qualified.

Congratulations to Ruth Perez and welcome to the council.
