The Seattle chapter of the International Plastic Modelers Society will host its annual spring plastic model contest and display Saturday, April 9, in Renton.
Model builders from throughout the Northwest will attend to display their latest miniature creations of aircraft, armored vehicles, ships, automobiles, figures and many other subjects. This is one of the largest model shows in the Pacific Northwest, with more than 500 models expected to be on display or entered into the contest.
Show is at the Renton Community Center, 1715 Maple Valley Highway. Cost is $10 per person to enter models in the contest ($5 for Junior modelers) or $5 per person to visit the show as a spectator.
