Girls swim & dive: KingCo meet results; Liberty’s Lecoq wins 200-yard freestyle

Liberty's Nicole Lecoq swims at the KingCo Championships. Lecoq won the 200-yard freestyle competition.

The Liberty swim team placed 12th at the KingCo swim and dive championships Oct. 29-31.

The meet combines all 18 4A, 3A and 2A KingCo teams.

Junior Nicole Lecoq won the 200-yard freestyle race for the Patriots. Lecoq finished second in the 500-yard freestyle.

Other top-8 finishes

Senior Katie Tsutakawa placed fourth in the one-meter dive competition.

Elise Tinseth placed seventh in the 100-yard backstroke.

Liberty placed eighth in the 400-yard freestyle relay. Tinseth, Sarah Lowes, Caitlin Duffner and Lecoq made up the team.
