The Seattle Seahawks topped the New Orleans Saints 41-36 Saturday in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs.

Seattle (8-9) was the biggest underdog in NFL playoff history coming into the game and trailed 17-7 early in the second quarter. The Seahawks took the lead later in that quarter and led 24-20 at the half.

Seattle then scored 10 straight points to build a 34-20 going into the fourth quarter. The Saints got to within four points, but Marshawn Lynch’s 67-yard rushing score with 3:22 left gave Seattle a cushion.

Matt Hasselbeck passed for 272 yards and four touchdowns in the game.
