Photos: Renton Pooch Plunge 2025

The annual event brought dogs of all sizes to Renton’s aquatic center.

A canine splash brought summer to an end in Renton as local dogs got to celebrate the city’s annual Pooch Plunge at the Henry Moss Aquatic Center.

From Saturday, Sept. 6, to Sunday, Sept. 7, dogs of all sizes had their owners register them for the opportunity to swim, play and try a delicious pup cup for 45-minute sessions. A tradition at the city’s outdoor aquatic center, chlorine levels in the water are lowered for the Pooch Plunge before the pools are closed for the season.
