The annual Renton River Days brought the crowds and the sunshine, with a Friday night drone show at Gene Coulon Park, a Saturday morning downtown parade with Heather Duong as the parade grand marshal, a Sunday afternoon Rubber Duck Derby race and everything in between.
Highlights from the July 25-27 weekend include the Wenatchee Youth Circus, a variety of delicious food trucks, free attractions and bouncy houses, a bazaar in the Renton Community Center and the Chalk Art Contest, where Raven Johnson’s macaw took first prize, followed by David Caverly’s Renton Arts dragon and Sarah Duda and Peter Neill’s dragon and salmon. The People’s Choice chalk art winner was young Davina Lee’s flower and sea turtle.
