Calling all Renton perfomers

Want to show off your talent? This is your chance.
The city’s second annual Renton Multicultural Festival will run Sept. 22 and 23.
They are currently searching for performers including artists, musicians, dance groups and more to participate in the two day event.
If you or your group are interested, email Carrie Nass as cnass@rentonwa.gov. The deadline to submit is June 1.
Please include the following in your email:
- Your name and/or name of group performing
- Availability — Friday/ Saturday/both days/time constraints
- Number of people in your group
- Type of entertainment
- Contact information
- Audio or video link
- Brief description of how you plan to engage the audience while sharing your story.
The city is looking for a variety of talents whose performances demonstrate their culture and individuality. Performers must be willing to share how their art form supports their culture and/or engage with festival attendees in a brief demonstration.
The festival’s opening night, on Friday, September 22, will be at Carco Theatre from 7 to 10 p.m. Day two, Saturday, September 23, will start at 3 p.m. and run through 7 p.m. at the Renton Pavilion Event Center.
