One shot, Renton police respond to attempted robbery late Thursday

Renton police officers responded to Jimmy Mac’s Roadhouse on Southwest 7th Street late Thursday to reports of a shooting.

According to a Facebook post from the department a male subject was on the ground outside with a gunshot wound to his leg.

He was first treated by Renton officers and then by Renton Fire and Medic once they arrived on scene.

According to the post, the male subject told officers he was shot during an attempted robbery.

The suspect fled the scene in a dark-colored Dodge Magnum, the post stated.
