An open house on a natural-gas pipeline project in the Renton area is set for Thursday, Aug. 11.

The open house is 7-9 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Hotel Seattle, 15902 West Valley Highway, Renton.

Williams Northwest Pipeline is proposing to install about five miles of new 16-inch diameter pipeline and additional facilities.

The project would expand capacity in the Maple Valley/Maple Heights Community.

Staff will review the project at the open house and there will be maps showing proposed routes. Regulators will attend.
