Renton man killed trying to cross I-5 on foot

A 37-year-old Renton man died early Monday morning after he attempted to cross Interstate 5 and was hit by a car, according to Washington State Police.

Heath M. Nuxoll was struck and killed by a car at approximately 4:48 a.m. after he tried to run across the I5 just south of mile post 156, near where state Route 900 joins the highway.

The driver of the car is an Auburn resident.

No charges have been filed in the death.
