I-5 ALERT: Semi jackknifed on freeway southbound near Southcenter, spilling fuel

All lanes of southbound I-5 at Klickitat Drive near Southcenter reopened at about 12:20 p.m. today (Tuesday) after a jack-knifed semi was cleared from the scene, according to the state transportation department.

The EPA responded to the semi-truck’s spilled fuel.

The semi jackknifed at about 10 a.m. The weather at the time was stormy.
