King County Water District No. 90 is holding an open house 1-5 p.m. Aug. 19 at its just completed administration and operations building, 15606 S.E. 128th St., Renton.

The district saved money in the past 10 years to pay cash for the facilities.

The district has been providing drinking water to City of Renton residents as well as unincorporated King County since 1952.

The district currently serves about 20,000 customers in the Renton Highlands area.

Residents of the district are invited to attend.
