The King County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a missing 56-year-old disabled man who fled from a Metro Access bus Tuesday afternoon.
William Wilson or Renton got off the bus while it was in the 9100 block of Rainier Avenue South. According to deputies, he lives about eight miles from that location, in the 19600 block of 108th Avenue Southeast.
Wilson is non-verbal and gets easily confused. Deputies also say he “can be assaultive.”
Missing person reports for Wilson have been filed with the Seattle and Renton Police Departments. Police say it is possible he boarded a fixed-route bus, likely a Route 7, 8, 106 or 107.
Wilson is 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and sweatpants.
If you see Wilson, call 911 and report his location to police.
