Major road repair work is planned for Carr Road South on June 11-12 with lane reductions and traffic delays expected.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes through the area.

The outside lane of east bound Carr Road is failing and needs to be repaired.

During the two-day repair project, the roadway will be reduced to one lane each in direction.

Carr Road South between Smithers Avenue South and Mill Avenue South will be reduced to one lane in each direction for two days to repair the failing roadway.

Road work will begin at 8 a.m. on both Tuesday, June 11, and Wednesday, June 12.

Traffic will be diverted beginning at 8 a.m. on both days. Heavy traffic congestion should be expected.
