The Alajawan Brown Foundation will collect backpacks and school supplies 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday,  Aug. 9,  at Sam’s Club, 901 S. Grady Way.

Donors also can contribute at King County Fire District 20, 12424 76th Ave. S., Skyway.
