Friends fighting over money: At 9:11 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 600 block of Mill Avenue South, officers were dispatched for a robbery. Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim, who stated he was helping a friend when an argument over money broke out. The argument turned into a physical altercation where a firearm was seen. The suspect fled the scene in his vehicle. The case is still under investigation.

Driver slumped over the wheel: At 2:16 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 300 block of South Grady Way, officers were dispatched for a driver slumped over the wheel. Upon arrival, officers found the driver slumped over the wheel and then boxed his vehicle in using patrol cars. The driver was removed from his vehicle and showed signs of impairment. He was arrested and booked into jail for driving under the influence.

Robbed at home: At 12:04 a.m. Nov. 9 in the 19000 block of 108th Avenue Southeast, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery. Officers contacted the victim, who stated the male suspect had knocked at the door. The victim opened the door when the subject pulled a gun and demanded money. The suspect stole money and lottery tickets, then fled on foot. Officers conducted an area check and did not locate the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

Man caught trying to steal car: At 5:13 a.m. Nov. 11 in the 170 block of Rainier Avenue South, officers were dispatched to an attempted vehicle theft. Officers contacted the victim, who said he was walking toward his vehicle when he noticed an unknown male in the driver’s seat tampering with the ignition. The victim startled the suspect, and the suspect fled the area on a bike. Officers aired a description of the suspect, and a man matching the description was located and detained. The victim positively identified the suspect, and he was booked into jail.

People fighting in a car: At 2:18 p.m. Nov. 11 at North 8th Street and Park Avenue North, officers responded to a physical fight. The two involved in the fight fled in a vehicle. An officer located the car and saw the driver physically assault the passenger while driving. The officer attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver did not pull over. The suspect driver then struck a parked vehicle, got out of the vehicle, and fled on foot. The suspect was located, taken into custody, and booked into jail.
