Police observe suspects steal a vehicle in downtown Renton

If you’re wondering why downtown Renton buzzed with police activity Wednesday afternoon, it’s because officers saw two suspects stealing a vehicle .

According to a Facebook post, Renton police officers observed two suspects stealing and driving a vehicle around in the 400 block of Wells Avenue South. They were able to detain a man and a woman who are currently under investigation for possession of stolen vehicle.
