Body of missing Renton man found near Rattlesnake Ridge

The body of Teang Ie, 42, was located Thursday in the Rattlesnake Ridge area by King County Search and Rescue. The Medical Examiner’s office will determine cause of death.
Ie’s family has been notified.

The Renton Police Department is seeking the assistance of the community in locating Teang Ie, a 42-year-old man last seen Monday morning at about 5:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Southeast Fourth Street.
Ie suffers from mental health issues, according to the Renton Police Department. His vehicle was located Monday evening in the Rattlesnake Ridge area near North Bend.
He is described as an Asian male, 5-foot-6 and 145 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Anyone who has seen Ie or has information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or contact the Renton Police Department at 425-430-7500 and refer to case number 14-12187.
