New Miss Washington visits Renton city council meeting

The recently crowned Miss Washington, Reina Almon of Yakima, stopped by Renton City Hall Monday for a short reception with city officials.

During the council meeting, Mayor Denis Law read a proclamation naming July 8 “Miss Washington Day” in the city.

The Miss Washington Scholarship Association offices are located in Renton.
