Four people were shot, two critically, in the early hours of New Year’s Day on West Hill, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting occurred just after 3 a.m. Sunday at a house party in the 6200 block of South 117th Place. 911 was called and deputies discovered that three men and a woman had been shot.
The victims, all in their 20s, were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle; two were reported in critical condition, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Witnesses said the suspect had been at the party earlier in the evening and was asked to leave after a dispute, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The suspect returned later and started shooting at people in the house.
Deputies on the scene said it appears at least one of the victims may have returned fire. It is unknown at this time if the suspect was shot. The suspect was still at large Sunday morning.
