Hazen loses to Issaquah in non-league game | Baseball

After an early pitcher’s duel, Issaquah got on the board and topped Hazen 6-2 in a non-league game Thursday.

The Highlanders (1-1) got three perfect innings from Jimmy Schmidt on the mound until the Eagles broke through for four runs in the bottom of the fourth. Schmidt pitched five innings, allowed four earned runs and four hits.

Issaquah added two more runs in the fifth. Hazen scored twice in the sixth.

Brenden Campbell went 2-3 with an RBI. Anthony Pina and John Wall each scored a run. Wall also had an RBI.
