James E. Budreau

James (Jim) Edward Budreau, 70 years old, of Renton, Washington, passed away on September 27, 2016 after a 3 year battle with lung and liver cancer.

Jim was born in Lafayette, Indiana on January 15, 1946. Jim lived in Reynolds but graduated in 1964 from North White High School in Monon, Indiana.

Jim worked as a Supervisor for Atlas Construction Specialities for over 20 years. Jim enjoyed spending time outdoors including camping and hunting for arrowhead artifacts, golf, and fishing. Jim also enjoyed watching the ponies race with his racing buddies.

Jim is survived by his brother, Jerry (Vasta) Budreau, nephews: Ron Welte, Dennis (Dianna) Welte, Bruce Budreau, Chuck Budreau, Mike Budreau and nieces: Danice (Kim) Bulloch, Suzy Budreau, Gina Yannone, and lots of grand-nephews and nieces and great-grand nephews and nieces. Jim was loved by many close friends and neighbors since he moved to the great State of Washington in 1977.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Wilferd and Theresa Budreau, brothers Bob and Don Budreau, and sister, Dorothy Welte.

There will be no funeral service. His cremated remains will be taken to Fowler, Indiana to be buried by his mom and dad at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given in Jim’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the Boys and Girls Club of America.
