Track and field: Renton girls edge Hazen to win Seamount League meet

The Renton girls edged Hazen to win the Seamount League Meet. Renton scored 141 points, Hazen 140.5.

Lindbergh placed fifth, with 91 points.

Hazen sophomore Starr Williams won the 100 finals and the 200 prelims (2nd in finals). She was also part of Hazen’s winning 4X100 relay. Venecia Rowan, Madison Dinger and Erin Anderson made up the rest of the team. The same four also won the 4X200 relay.

Renton’s Roylanda Jackson won the shot put. Teammate Boryana Atanasova won the discus. Atanasova also won the javelin.

Hazen’s Kaysie Rozsonits won the high jump. Teammate Robin Lee won the pole vault.

Lindbergh’s Makala Williams won the long jump.
