Liberty 2, Mount Si 1

Liberty bounced back from its first league loss of the year to beat Mount Si 2-1 Monday.

The Wildcats beat Liberty 5-3 March 27. Liberty is now 6-2 overall and 5-1 in the KingCo 3A. The Patriots have a one-game lead over Bellevue for first place in the standings.

Liberty got just one hit on offense and it was a homerun by Eric Peterson.

John McLeod pitched six innings, struck out eight batters and got the win.

Liberty 22, Hazen 2

Liberty beat up on Hazen 22-2 in non-league game Monday.

Kate Faoro went 3-4 with three runs, two RBI and a homerun for Liberty. Alexis Court went 4-5. Five Liberty players collected three runs.
