Softball: Four-inning perfect game by Casey Routos leads the way for Lindbergh

Lindbergh 15, Highline 0

Lindbergh’s Casey Routos pitched a four-inning perfect game and helped her team to a 15-0 win against Highline Monday. The game was called after four innings because of rain.

The Eagles (4-1 overall, 3-1 Seamount) scored in every inning of the abbreviated game.

Routos didn’t allow a hit or walk, and earned the win. She struck out eight batters.

Adriana Bernal went 2-3 from the plate with one run and five RBI. Maniqua Sanchez went 3-3 with four runs scored.

Lindbergh is now in third place in the Seamount, behind Kennedy and Mount Rainier.
