Injury situations heading into Saturday’s playoff matchup between the Seahawks and the Saints:
Seahawks-
Quarterback Matt Hasselbeckshould be available for the game with the amount he’s been practicing. However, the team still hasn’t announced whether Hasselbeck or Charlie Whitehurst will start at QB.
Hasselbeck had his best game of the season against the Saints Week 11 when he completed 32 of 44 passes for 366 yards and a touchdown.
Guard Chester Pitts hit the injured reserve, meaning Stacy Andrews will likely be active and playing. Tackle Russell Okung had some more ankle issues against the Rams Week 17 and, while he is slated to start, he could have problems as the game goes on.
Saints-
New Orleans lost its two leading rushers when running backs Chris Ivory and Pierre Thomas both went on injured reserve. That leaves former Seahawk Julius Jones and Reggie Bush, who had a season-high nine carries last week against Tampa Bay.
Safety Malcom Jenkins has knee issues and is questionable to play. Tight end Jimmy Graham didn’t practice Wednesday.
Wide receiver Marques Colston is expected to play after missing Week 17.
