The Seattle Seahawks could be favorites to sign two of the league’s biggest defense free agents, according to ESPN’s John Clayton.
Clayton laid out his top 10 free agents, listing Seattle as the leading suitor for two.
The first is defensive end Ray Edwards, who has played all five of his seasons with the Minnesota Vikings. The 26-year-old has 16.5 sacks combined the past two years while playing on a talented Vikings’ line.
The second is defensive tackle Brandon Mebane, who has played all four of his seasons with the Seahawks. Clayton said the 26-year-old “is considered the best 4-3 defensive tackle on the market,” so the Seahawks will have heavy competition for his services.
