The Lindbergh girls basketball won its third straight game, 54-38 against Tyee Friday.
The Eagles (7-7 overall, 5-5 Seamount) move into a tie with Hazen for fourth place in the league after the win. Tyee is in third place in the Seamount, one game ahead of Lindbergh.
Gabriel Redwine led Lindbergh with 22 points. Emily Graver scored 16 along with nine rebounds and seven assists.
Kennedy Catholic 77, Renton 37
Renton fell to Kennedy Catholic 77-37 Friday.
The Indians (5-9, 4-6) are now in sixth place in the Seamount. Kennedy remains perfect in league play and 15-1 overall.
Renton fell behind 23-6 after the first quarter and bounced back with a 19-11 advantage in the second. The Lancers pulled away in the third, outscoring Renton 33-5.
Tia Bryant scored nine points for Renton. Taylor Farris scored eight and Shanease Kenner scored seven.
Highline 42, Hazen 40
Hazen fell behind and couldn’t quite come back. The Highlanders lost to Highline 42-40 Friday.
Hazen (8-6, 5-5) is now tied with Lindbergh for fourth place in the Seamount. Highline got out to a big, 17-2 lead in the first quarter. Hazen outscored the Pirates 31-16 in the second half, but it wasn’t enough.
