Seahawks defensive end Patrick Kerney undergoes elbow surgery

King 5 News is reporting that Seattle Seahawk defensive end Patrick Kerney underwent elbow surgery to remove bone chips Tuesday.

According to this report, doctors say the surgery went well and Kerney should be back in action in time for training camp.

Kerney played in just seven games last season, battling a number on injuries. He ended the season in the injured reserve and had shoulder surgery. His production dipped to 21 tackles and five sacks in 2008, from 60 and 14.5 in 2007.
