Martret is a three-year varsity letter winner and named First Team All KingCo

The Renton Reporter’s female athlete of the week for Nov. 2 is senior Grace Martret of Liberty High School, soccer.

Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?

A: Sports Medicine.

Q: Name your Mount Rushmore (Top 4) of Movies?

A: “Harry Potter Series”, “Mean Girls”, “IT”, “Barbie”

Q: Who is the person in your life that has helped you succeed the most?

A: Both of my parents, Mike and Julianne.

Q: You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

A: Coconut Red Bull and Golfish.

Q: Describe your pre-game ritual

A: Get Focused, don’t mess around and take warm-ups seriously.

Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?

A: IDGAF by Drake.

From the sidelines: Grace scored 2 goals against Bellevue, the #1 ranked team in 3A. She also added another goal scored against Juanita in a recent playoff victory. She is a 3-year varsity letter award winner and last season was named to 1st Team All-Kingco for 3A Girls Soccer. She has taken a leadership role this year and is poised to help the team continue their run in the KingCo Tournament and advance to state!
