Renton-based fighter will Battle at the Boat this weekend

Undefeated Isaac Tadeo, a 25-year-old middleweight, trains at the Azteca Boxing Club in Renton.

Undefeated middleweight Isaac Tadeo returns to the ring on June 11 when he fights in the semi-main event of Battle at the Boat 106 at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma.

The 25-year-old Tadeo, who trains at the Azteca Boxing Club in Renton, is a perfect 7-0 with 3 knockouts. He will face Tommy Turner, who is coming off the biggest win of his career, in a six-round contest.

Tadeo is coming off a victory at Battle at the Boat 105 on March 26 when he defeated a game Chad McKinney by unanimous decision.

It was Tadeo’s third career win at the Emerald Queen venue. He had his professional debut locally on March 31, 2012 and defeated Cameron Sevilla-Rivera at Battle at the Boat 103 on Nov. 7, 2015.

“Isaac continues to make his climb towards main event status,” promoter Brian Halquist said n a press release. “He’s a very gifted boxer who always brings major excitement to the ring. He will put on a show for the crowd, that’s for sure.”

Tadeo’s opponent looked razor sharp in his last outing as well. Turner (4-5-0, 3 KOs) fought at Battle at the Boat 105, defeating former amateur national champion Andre Keys by first-round knockout.
