Renton’s district-champion 9/10 little league baseball team stayed alive this weekend, winning one game, but dropping another as they play for the state championship.
On Saturday, the team of local all stars topped Bainbridge Island Little League 5-0. On Sunday, however, the team fell to Mill Creek Little League 17-4 in a tough match-up.
But the loss does not mean the season is over as the Renton Little League lives to play again, matching up with Walla Walla tomorrow, Tuesday.
Gametime is 7 p.m. at Paine Field Community Park, 11928 Beverly Park Rd. Everett.
