Hazen 38, Eastside Catholic 35

Hazen overcame a slow start to beat Eastside Catholic 38-35 Tuesday.

The Highlanders (5-2 overall, 3-1 Seamount) scored just two points in the first quarter and trailed by nine. Airashay Rogers led all scorers with 19 points for Hazen. Keyanna Reed added eight points.

Liberty 56, Glacier Peak 53

Liberty weathered an early run against Glacier Peak to beat the Grizzlies 56-53 in the KingCo/WesCo Tuesday.

The Patriots (6-2, 3-1 KingCo 3A/2A) went behind 15-8, but turned around and outscored Glacier Peak 16-9 in the second quarter.

Aspen Winegar led Liberty with 17 points. Danni Sjolander scored 12 and Halie Ericksen scored 11.

Lindbergh 48, West Seattle 38

Lindbergh topped West Seattle 48-38 in a non-league game Tuesday.

The Eagles (2-5, 1-3) got 20 points each from Gabrielle Redwine and Emily Graver. Redwine made eight of 20 shots while Graver made 10 of 13. Graver collected 18 rebounds and nine assists to barely miss the triple-double. Aleisha Simpson and Sarah Batschi each grabbed 11 rebounds for Lindbergh.
