Lindbergh, Renton close out regular season tonight with playoff seeding on the line

If Lindbergh wins tonight, they will be the top seed, Foster would be No. 2 and Renton No. 3. If Renton wins, a draw will be used to determine seeding as there is not enough time for a tiebreaker before the playoffs begin.

It’s the final week of the regular football season and while both Renton and Lindbergh will play in the postseason next week, seeding is still up for grabs tonight when the 4-1 (league record) Eagles host the 3-2 Indians at Renton Memorial Stadium.

The Foster Bulldogs, who beat Renton but lost to Lindbergh, are also 3-2 in the Seamount. They play winless Evergreen tonight.

The 2A top seed in the Seamount League will host a playoff game Nov. 6 or 7 against the South Puget Sound League’s No. 3 seed. The second seed will play at the KingCo Conference’s No. 1 seed on Nov. 6 or 7. The No. 3 seed will play at the Olympic League No. 3 seed on Tuesday.

 

Hazen finishes out their season tonight at Kennedy Catholic. Both schools are 3A. Kennedy will be the Seamount League’s lone representative when the 3A playoffs begin Nov. 6.
