The Lindbergh boys basketball team fell 50-42 to Archbishop Murphy Dec. 2.

The Eagles (0-1) led by three heading into the fourth quarter, but Archbishop Murphy outscored them 15-4 in the final period.

Jimmy Keum led Lindbergh with 19 points. Dwayne Brown scored eight.

The Renton girls basketball team opened the year with a 76-28 loss to Nathan Hale.

The Indians (0-1) fell behind 31-11 after the first quarter.

P.J. Tuiasosopo led Renton with 12 points. Klarissa Quintas added seven.
