Liberty soccer beats Interlake, falls to Bellevue

The Liberty soccer team this weekend played to a draw with Interlake on Friday, but was able to beat Bellevue on Monday.

The Liberty soccer team this weekend played to a draw with Interlake on Friday, but was able to beat Bellevue on Monday.

On April 3, Liberty and Interlake played to a 1-1 draw, with Tyler Wray getting the Patriots’ lone goal off an assist from Tyler Jensen. The Liberty defense was able to hold Interlake to just three shots on goal in the game.

On Monday, Mitchell Thatcher and Griffin Lockhart each put the ball in the net in a 2-1 win against Bellevue. Thatcher’s goal came on an assist from Wray while Lockhart’s came off an assist from Noah Anderson.

Again, Liberty’s defense held Bellevue in check with the Wolverines only taking five shots on goal to Liberty’s 11.
