Josh Kluth, Austin Clark, Daniel Karpman, Kyle Ely win Seamount 3A titles as Hazen takes second | Wrestling

Hazen finished second at the 3A Seamount wrestling championships Saturday.

The Highlanders scored 163.5 points, trailing Kennedy Catholic’s 198.

Josh Kluth (103 pounds), Austin Clark (130), Daniel Karpman (135) and Kyle Ely (189) all won league titles.

Derek Coburn (112), Tyler Watanabe (119), Jonathan Greer (152), Andre Faciane (160) and Justin Russell (285) all took second in their weight class.

Cameron Felt (119) and Giovanni Trujillo (171) each took third in their weight class.

Twelve of the 15 Hazen wrestlers that competed moved on to regionals.
