The Hazen girls tennis team picked up a win in their first match of the year on Friday, dominating Evergeen 7-0.

Evergreen was only able to win three games during the entire match as the Highlanders rolled to victory.

In singles play, all four singles players, Misa Takami, Andressa Chan, Brigget Lee and Amy Nguyen all won their matches 6-0, 6-0, as did the second doubles team of Jennifer Nguyan and Alison Tay.

The first doubles team of Melynda Phung and Melanie Aquino won their match 6-0, 6-1, while the third doubles team of Jeanise Wong and Yena Nguyen won their match 6-1, 6-1.

Hazen was scheduled to host Lindbergh today, Monday, and is scheduled to play at Foster on Wednesday.
