Hazen overcomes early deficit to beat Renton | Girls basketball

The Hazen girls basketball team beat Renton 63-56 Tuesday night.

The Indians (4-7 overall, 3-4 Seamount) led through the early stages of the game until Hazen (8-3, 5-2) outscored them 18-9 in the second quarter.

Airashay Rogers led all scorers with 20 points. Rogers added nine rebounds and nine steals.

Michelle Wnek, Keyanna Reed and Anastasia Pallis each scored 12 points for Hazen.

Hazen is now in second place in the Seamount, two games behind undefeated Kennedy Catholic. Renotn sits in fifth, behind Foster.
