Hazen eeks out win against Lindbergh in final race | Boys swim & dive

The Hazen boys swim and dive team beat Lindbergh 97-89 Thursday in a meet that came down to the final event.

Hazen led 89-85 heading into a winner-take-all final event, the 400-freestyle relay. The Highlanders’ group of Corbin Kozai, P.J. Warmenhoven, Malcolm Mitchell and Chase Constot beat Lindbergh’s team of A.J. Lim, Aaron Jacobsen, Connor Guhlke and Andrew Franco-Munoz by 0.55 seconds for the win.
