Hazen comes back to beat Foster | Football

The Hazen football team won its third straight game Thursday night, topping Foster 21-13. The Highlanders (5-2 overall, 3-2 Seamount) take on rival Renton Oct. 28 in the regular-season finale. Hazen is in fourth place in the Seamount, second among 3A teams.

Hazen got on the board in the first quarter when Cody Taylor scored on a 29-yard run. The Bulldogs 2-5, 1-3 then scored 13 straight points in the second quarter to take a 13-7 lead at the half.

Marquis Jackson and Cedric Cooper each scored rushing touchdowns for Foster.

Hazen came back in the third on a four-yard rushing touchdown from Tray Brown and another rushing score from Taylor.

Foster plays at Renton Oct. 21, then hosts Lindbergh Oct. 28 in the regular-season finale.
